    • The question stem provides us with the area of rectangle RSTU. In addition, the diagram gives us the means to find the length of TU by giving us the coordinates of Points T and U.

    • The smaller shaded rectangle shares Point R with RSTU. If we can determine the coordinates of Point R, we can find the area of the shaded rectangle.
