People who are strong in visual-spatial intelligence are good a visualizing things. These individuals are often good with directions as well as maps, charts, videos and pictures.
Most of the intelligence tests depend to a great: extent upon the language as a medium and include task presented in verbal terms. However useful these tests may be, they would tend to favor those who are well versed with the language used as the medium. Therefore, those candidates who have studied in good institutions may enjoy an advantage over the others. in order to neutralize this factor, and at the same time ensure equal opportunity to all the participants, non-language (non-verbal) tasks known as ‘matrices’ have been developed. These tests do not require any proficiency in the language to solve the test problems.
