The marks obtained by each candidate in the various tasts at the ISSB. are added together in the end and a merit list is prepared on the basis of the total marks secured by each candidate. Final selection and call up for training are made from this marit list, according to the order of merit, depending on the number of vacancies available.
The aim of the candidate should therefore be not only to get selected at the ISSB but also to obtain the maximum possible number of marks, so that he may find a high position in the merit list.
