Pakistan Army - Short Service Commission

Pakistan Army offers the intake in cadre of Captain for the qualified nationals of Pakistan through Short Service Commission.

Required Age: 28 Years

• Army Education Corps (AEC)
  • MA / MSc in following disciplines:-
  • Islamic Studies
  • Computer Sciences
  • Pakistan Studies
  • Urdu

• Corps of Ordnance (Ord)
  • BSc / BE in following disciplines:-
  • Textile/Leather Technology
  • Plastic/Wood Technology
  • Metallurgy Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering

• Corps of Remount Veterinary and Farms Officer (RV & FC)
  • DVM or equivalent degree from Pakistan, UK or USA Registered with PVMC

• Psychologist
  • M.A / M.Sc Psychology (Minimum second Division)

Each candidate will undergo a Written / Intelligence Tests. The tests is based on multiple choice questions will be conducted at AS&RCs.

Medical Test

Candidates will undergo initial medical test at AS&RCs.

Physical Requirements

Candidates are required to qualify following physical tests:-

• 1.6 km Run - 9 Minutes
• Push Ups - 10 Repetitions in 2 Minutes
• Sit Ups - 10 Repetitions in 2 Minutes
• Chin Ups - 2 Repetitions in 2 Minute

ISSB and Other Tests

Short listed candidates will receive intimation for ISSB tests through website as well as call up letters.

Detailed medical examination of candidates recommended by ISSB will be carried out at nearby CMHs. Candidates who are recommended by ISSB will be called for interview by GHQ Selection Board at Quetta, Karachi, Multan, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Peshawar. No TA / DA is admissible. Final selection will be made at GHQ on the basis of candidate’s overall performance.
