Sulaiman Range and Langrial Deposits

The Sulaiman Range iron ore deposits are located at Rakhimunh in Dera Ghazi Khan District (Punjab). The quality of the ore is limonite and siderite and quantity of the reserve is one million tonnes, with average iron content of 37%.

Langrial Deposits

The Larigrial iron ore deposits are situated 20 miles south of Abbottababd in K.P.K. The total reserve is 28 million tonnes. These reserves are low grade Oolitic hematite with iron content ranging from 9-30 percent and due to low quality, their economic utilization is doubtful.
