The diagonals of a square bisect one another and are perpendicular. In addition, they bisect each pair of opposite angles.

A square is a rectangle with 4 equal sides.

QR = RS = ST = TQ

Because a square is a type of rectangle, it shares the characteristics of other rectangles. It has four right angles, and equal diagonals that bisect each other.
