Export of Cotton Thread and Cotton Cloth

Cotton textile’s share in exports is about 54%. The textile sector revived after five years of stagnation because of bumper cotton crop and lower limits cotton prices in the country.

During 2008-09, Pakistan exported 1,496.8 million kg meters cloth and earned 1,488,349 million US dollars.
