Finding The Side Length Of A Right Triangle

A triangle where one of its interior angles is a right angle (90 degrees). Famous Pythagoras Theorem defines the relationship between the three sides of a right triangle: C2 = A2 + B2

In a right triangle, the largest angle is always the right, or 90° angle. Therefore, the longest side is the side across from the right angle. This side is the hypotenuse. The other two sides are legs.

The Pythagorean theorem tells us that the square of one leg, plus the square of the other leg, is equal to the square of the hypotenuse.

The Pythagorean theorem: a 2 + b2 = c2
