Test Pattern and Preparation

(a) General Eligibility Criteria

  • An applicant must have appeared in the combined Entry Test conducted by the University of the Engineering & Technology on August 24, 2008, for the Academic Session 2008-2009. (The test is mandatory for admission on open academic merit and carries 30% weightage for determining merit.)
  • An applicant must be domiciled in Punjab.
  • An applicant must have passed his F.Sc./B.Sc./DAE Examination or equivalent examination in 2006, 2007 or Spring Examination 2008. The candidates placed in compartment in respective examination are not eligible.
  • An applicant for admission to the B.Sc. (Engg.) First Semester on B.Sc. basis or equivalent examination must not be above Twenty Six (26) years of age as on August 24, 2008. Age limit for the candidate seeking admission on F.Sc. basis or equivalent examination or diploma basis or equivalent examination shall not be above Twenty Four (24) years on August 24, 2008.
