GRE Biology is a long test. The total number of questions is 200. All questions are MCQ with five choices. many questions are group questions normally at the end of the test. These questions are based on descriptions of laboratory and field situations, diagrams or experimental results.
The whole test is categorized into three major areas:
- Cellular and Molecular Biology
- Organismal Biology and Ecology
- Evolution
Almost equal number of questions are based on each of the areas.
Your score report reflects four scores, three sub scores one for each major area and total score.
