Science is a Curse

The atom bombs in the possession of the U.S.A. and U.S.S.R. are powerful enough to blow up the world within no time. The star war will carry the struggle in the space and pollute the whole sphere so badly that no life of any type will survive. The scientists are busy making further advances in the field of armaments and the day is not very far when by switching on one button, the whole humanity will become a thing of the past. The animals in the ocean may survive and may make another effort towards the evolution of new species on the earth. When billions of people are dying of starvation, more than fifty percent of the budget is being spent on war games. The governments of different countries are busy in making a nuclear device. The cost of one bomb will cross a thousand cores rupees. The common man in that country is also ill clad and ill fed. In Iran and Iraq, a terrible war is fought. The whole wealth of both these countries is being out consumed by the hell fires of war. The nuclear power plants pose a very serious danger. In Russia, the Cheer noble plant spread radiation all around and the neighboring countries also felt the shock. The radiation level is rising so high that some animals have started dying out.

The smoke and pollution left by big industries is spoiling the whole atmosphere. Last years in Lahore, hundreds of people were killed due to the leakage of poisonous gas. In Switzerland, a private company let out the pollutants in the river and the whole marine life of the river was wiped out. Ultimately all this poisonous material reaches the ocean and kills fish of every type.

The whole work is done by machines. One machine can work for thousands of persons. UN-employment is increasing at a very fast rate. Even those people, who work in the factories, sit idle the whole day. We have forgotten manual labor which can keep us physically fit. We cannot walk even for a kilo meter because we depend more and more on automobiles. The result is that. Most of us suffer from diseases of various types. We cannot enjoy a healthy, vigorous and busy life. Science started as our servant but is becoming our master very fast. It is getting on our nerves and the day is not far off when the entire humanity will suffer a great deal.
