About - Laleham Lea School

Laleham Lea is a purpose-built school dating from 1906 in an attractive building which has been adapted and extended to provide excellent modern facilities. From 1963 until 1977 it served as the Preparatory School for the nearby John Fisher Boys' School. Girls have attended since 1994 and now make up almost half of the total number of pupils.The Nursery was opened in 1997 and a recent extension provides a much larger and newly equipped nursery room with direct access to a covered external play area and the secluded nursery garden. The Nursery is now very well established and together with the Infant Department provides an excellent foundation for future learning throughout the school.

Class Nursery to Class 6	September

Parents can contact the school to arrange a visit to meet the teachers, children and headteacher.They will give parents a prospectus with the application forms and answer any queries that parents may have. Following receipt of their application, the school will invite their child to spend a morning/afternoon with them to ensure that they can meet their needs and parents should provide all relevant information from their child's previous schools. Failure to disclose information may be prejudicial to your child's stay at Laleham Lea. Key Stage 2 children may be given a formal test. After the assessment they will make a written offer of a place which is accepted by returning the completed registration form with the registration deposit. All deposits are fully refundable provided there are no fees or charges outstanding.
