GMAT Registration Information
The registration process for the GMAT is fairly simple, requiring you to select a testing time and location and submit payment. Requests for testing accommodations can be made during this process if you have a disability. Read on to learn more about your registration options.
Register for the GMAT
To register for the GMAT online, create an account through the Graduate Management Admissions Council's website. This will require you to enter your first and last name, email address, and a password. You may also agree to receive additional information related to the test.
Once you have created an account, you can search for testing centers near you - either by address or zip code - and check out the times and dates the GMAT is being administered. Testing appointments are generally offered year-round, depending on your testing center's availability. Understand that by registering, you are agreeing to the guidelines for the exam laid out in the GMAT Handbook. Scheduling an exam can also be done by phone, mail, or fax.
The last phase of the registration process is reviewing your confirmation email to ensure the test date and location are correct and that the name matches the one on the ID you will use at the testing center.
Testing Accommodations
Test takers with disabilities can request special accommodations, including modifications to the testing time and test font. You will need to fill out the proper documentation for your disability and submit it via mail. The documentation includes an accommodations request form and an optional health disclosure authorization.
