Too much of money invites insecurity. A moneyed man is
always worried as to how to protect his wealth. He remains under tension all
the time and gets no peace of mind for which he has amassed so much of wealth.
He has to shell out many bucks to employ guards which pinch him a lot. What a
strange game he play& So it is wrong notion that money can buy contentment,
satisfaction, peace of mind and happiness The more the money, the more the
happiness is a myth.
When the world is too much with us we go insensitive to all
sentiments and emotions. Nature which can nurture our body, mind and soul fails
to invite us to appreciate it when one loses touch with Nature and has no eye
or ear for Natures beauty or grandeur, there is no spiritual life and religion
is a sham. Man forgets to deify the powers of Nature and commune with these
powers, deified as gods and goddesses Nature tails to be a soothing balm to the
bleeding hearts Man loses his soul in the mundane and worthless materialistic
pursuits. Christ said, “What shall it profit a man, if he gains the whole world
and loses his soul.” Man engrossed in the meaningless race of amassing huge
wealth goes lethargic, lazy, inactive and vegetable. He feeds his body but
starves his soul. Many ailments grip him. His life remains in the hands of his
doctor He can’t enjoy the bounties of Nature pili, tablets, medicated syrups, injections
and what not becomes his routine diet. This is nothing, too much of money leads
to vices, woman and wire and show off Too much money can hardly be self- earned.
