Gemstone Corporation of Pakistan Limited GEMCP

The GEMCP was established in 1978. The objective was undertaking mining, cutting, polishing and marketing of the gemstones available in the country.

While Sandal Metals Ltd. (SML) and Lahr Coal Development Company (LCDC) are other main organizations working under Federal Government for development of mineral resources of the country.

The provincial government are also, extending helping hand through their four corporations.

b)      Baluchistan Development Authority, BDA.
c)       Sarah Development Authority, SDA.
d)      Sindh Coal Development Authority, SCDA.
e)      F.A.T.A. Development Corporation, FDC.
