About - Longwood Primary and Nursery School

Longwood Primary and Nursery School is an average-sized primary school serving a community with significant social and economic disadvantage in Harlow. Longwood was formed in January 2011 from the amalgamation of Peterswood Infants and Paringdon Junior schools. We are a small friendly Community school with a team of committed and experienced staff who work hard to provide every child with the best in education. In its Early Years Foundation Stage, the school has a Nursery class that accommodates up to 26 children on a part-time basis, and a Reception class. The school Nursery has amazing garden that is fully enclosed

Applications must be received in Autumn term for the following September on specified closing date of submission. There is no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admission area. In the event of oversubscription places allocated will be determine by the criteria in the given priority of order.In the event of oversubscription within any of the above criteria, priority will be determined by straight line distance from home to school, those living closest being given the highest priority. Exceptional medical circumstances (supported by medical evidence) may override the above (other than Looked After Children).
