Interestingly, there's a high correlation between high test scores and proper breathing. Odd though it may seem, each person's breathing reflects—indeed, helps to determine—his or her poise and rhythm, and thus the way that person tackles any task. Especially the important tasks. Therefore:

Task Check on your breathing every hour or so as you practice or study.

At least every half-hour, stop studying and breathe slowly and rhythmically—say, five inhale/exhale cycles. In other words, force yourself to concentrate on, and control, your breathing.
