This board is also providing training in modem
technology; access to bank loans, infrastructural facilities and expertise and
guidance to the intending entrepreneurs.
At present K.P.K., board is running 15 carpet
centres, 10 textiles/Patti centres, six embroidery and knitting centres, five
wood working centres, one sports goods service center, one leather goods
service center and one ceramics development center. Other projects, which are
in the process of completion, include Agricultural Light Engineering programr,
Marwan and Pak Holland Metal projects, Peshawar.
The Projects of Electronic Development Centre
Peshawar, specialized plastic/polymer Project Peshawar have been recently
approved. Small industrial estate, Charsadda and Artisan Crafts Village,
Hashtnagar has also been approved. The board has established 9 small industrial
estates with 1,641, industrial plots and Peshawar advisory service center is
rendering service to private sector.
