Directorate of Small Industries Baluchistan DSIB

The DSIB is handicraft/training centres training and development crafts and trades. Directorate is also extending loan facility to small investors through Industrial Development Bank of Pakistan.

All small industrial corporations a boards have investigated and ‘locate exact nature of problems and seek o running 70 for imparting of traditional redial measures of these industries. We can sum up these measures in following lines;

     
  1. Govt. of Pakistan is providing loans at only 8% markup, through Small and Cottage Industries Corporations.
  2. Black money is allowed to be invested in rural industries.
  3. In order to standardize 11 industrial products, Pakistan Standard Institution was established in 1951, which promote the standardization of quality control and simplification.
  4. In order to improve the quality of products, government supplies new models and their specification to craftsmen.
  5. For better quality products, government has arrangements, to supply imported raw materials to entrepreneurs at cost prices.
  6. Small scale corporations has arrangements to advertise craftsmen products, through display centres, by embassies abroad to introduce to foreign consumers.
  7. Govt. is providing technical and advisory services through their service centres, established at various places.
  8. Govt. has developed industrial estates n each province at various places, with all modem and latest infrastructure.
  9. Model crafts centers have been developed for training in each province, which are milage stone for the new entrepreneurs.
  10. Govt. of Pakistan has various provisions/incentives for import of modern machinery.
  11. Govt. of Pakistan is providing marketing facilities through provincial corporations/boards, so that craftsmen may be able to earn good earning of their products.
  12. SMEDA is also engaged with international donors to obtain their cooperation and expertise in development of small & medium enterprises.
