Natural Gas

As on January 1st 2010 the balance recoverable natural gas reserves have been estimated at 28.33 trillion cubic feet. The average production of natural gas during July-March 2009-10 was, 4,048.76 million cubic feet per day (mmcfd) as against 3,986.53 (mmcfd) during the corresponding period of last year, showing an increase of 1.56 percent.
