Hint of Paragraph 1

   The passage contains a number of superstitions connected with the cock. In writing the précis it would be necessary to leave out some of the superstitions and to take notice only of those which seem more important. The main superstitions should be stated not in separate sentences.  (Because that would mean larger number of words) but should be grouped together in the same sentence. An appropriate title for the passage would be: “Superstitions Connected with the Cock”.
