Beaconhouse's aim to provide well-stocked libraries in all our schools. The building up of a large and versatile library takes time, but the development of school libraries, to act as the main resource centre for each of our schools, is one of our prime targets. Most of our schools now have a wide range of excellent books and magazines available for students to read and borrow, and an accelerated program of continuous expansion is under way throughout the system. We are planning to make CD-ROMs available in our libraries as an additional resource. In due course, access to libraries around the world will also be made available through the Internet. This we hope will facilitate research work by students and teachers alike.
