About - Kendall Church of England Primary School

Founded in 1890 to provide education according to the principles and practices of the Church of England in the New Town Area, Kendall Church of England Primary School is a safe and secluded environment for children's education. The school transferred to the new site in January 1976 and in April 2011 new pre-school building were completed. This is run by Puddleducks Pre-school Colchester Ltd whom the school have worked closely with since September 2007. In June 2012 improvements to the main school building were completed.

Applications for places in the Reception class for the beginning of the new academic year should be made on the Common Entry Form which will be sent out from the Local Authority in October the preceding year. All pupils will be offered places in the unit in September provided children born on 1st September to 31st December - Full time in autumn term and those who born on 1st January to 31st August is offered part time in autumn term (usually mornings only), full time from spring term.
