About - All Saints Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School Dovercourt

All Saints' C. of E. (Aided) Primary School, Dovercourt was created in November 1982 because of the postponement of the proposed transfer of pupils to the building occupied by Dovercourt St. George's County Primary School in 1969 . It was originated as Dovercourt National School built in 1862 on a site in Main Road, Upper Dovercourt. From 1874 to 1906 the school name change twice then in 1961 it was renamed All Saints Church of England Infants School. All Saints' C. of E. (Aided) Primary School, Dovercourt was partly accomdated in St. George's School premises a as well as in the existing Infants' School building until an extension building in St. George's School site was opened in 1991.

Applications for admission must be made in accordance with the co-ordinated scheme operated by the Local Authority and submit on published closing date. Parents also complete Supplementary Information Form that must be returned to the school. All children will be admitted to school in the September on full-time education on or before their fifth birthday. When applications exceed the intended published admission number of 30, set of criteria are used to determine which children are admitted in a given order. In the event of over subscription in any category, the straight line distance between home and school will be taken into account with those nearest the school being given priority. Exceptions is when a A child with a statement of educational need that names All Saints C of E School as the provider of education will be admitted irrespective of the above criteria.
