The duration of the course for the Degree of Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in full residence shall not be less than four semesters and more than six semesters for whole time students and not less than six semesters for the University employees admitted as part time students.
The duration of the course for the Degree of Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) for part time students shall not be less than six semesters and more than ten semesters.
The medium of instruction and examination shall be English.

Eligibility

16 years of schooling or 4 years education (130 credit hours) after HSSC /F.A /F.Sc./Grade 12 equivalents. Minimum 2nd Div. with 50% marks according to annual system or minimum CGPA 2.50/4.00 according to the semester system from a recognized University in related field of study. GAT (General) Test by NTS: Candidates will have to clear GAT (General) Test by NTS before the last date of submission of applications.
Graduate Assessment Test (GAT) by NTS (50%cummulative score) is mandatory for admission to M.Phil.

Eligibility

The candidates must have Master's degree (M.Sc. Hons./M.Phil) in related field of study with minimum of 1st Division according to annual system or not less than CGPA 3.00/4.00 according to semester system from HEC recognized universities. Candidates will have to clear GRE subject test which will be arranged by university. Qualifying score 70% or GAT subject test by NTS in all disciplines qualification score 60% except these two subjects (Molecular Biology & Biotechnology and Biochemistry) requiring International GRE test.
