This tells us nothing we didn’t already know. Whenever you see in a statement what could possibly be a reworking of an equality or inequality in the question stem, you need to make sure that the two expressions are different. If they’re not, if the statement is merely a duplication of the stem!

In this case, the expression in Statement (1) is simply a + b > ab divided through by b and rewritten in reverse order. If we multiplied each term in the expression by b, we’d end up with the same expression as in the question stem. Insufficient.
