Entry Test Preparation
There are two major types of entrytests or admission tests.
- General Aptitude Tests
- Admission Tests
- Employment Tests

General Aptitude Tests
General Aptitude tests evaluate test taker's general abilities. These tests normally include sections such as General Mathematics (Quantitative), English Reading and Vocabulary, and Analytical Reasoning. Find the introduction to all sections
Admission vs Employment Tests
There is no basic difference between admission and employment tests. Almost all sections are similar in both. However; general knowledge, current affairs, and basic arithmetic calculation sections are very common in employment tests. Focus of an employment test remains towards the industry. Bank's employment test normally involves economy of Pakistan and general accounting principles.
Subject Tests
NTS Subject Tests
There are two major subject tests:
- NTS NAT - IE, IM, IIP, IIB, and IIM are tests required for undergraduate admissions.
- NTS GAT - Subject tests are available in many subjects that are required for postgraduate admissions.

Armed Force Tests
Army, Air Force, and Navy selection and recruitment tests involve aptitude evaluation element in all sections of the tests. Psychological assessment is also a major part of the series of tests. However; almost all sections are similar to the general sections on the aptitude tests for admission and employment.
