War Creates Pnic

All human activities come to a standstill when war breaks out.  A country is compelled to concentrate all its energies on the outgoing war. Trade, industry, agriculture, education and so on get paralyzed. Nation-building gets a severe jolt. All the resources at the command of a country are thrown into the hearth of destruction All efforts are made to destroy construction. Funds meant ton social welfare are diverted to produce or ‘purchase war equipment’s. Miseries, man-made ones, eclipse the fate of the people. Colossal loss of life and property, both the victor and the vanquished face. War creates feelings of insecurity and panic. Progress gets a halt. Creators get crippled and no creative work is possible. Great artistic achievements are the victories of peace. One should not decry war outright Wars do build and they build empires. But these empires failed to face and tolerate the onslaughts of time. Victors do lick the dust at the hands of their victims. War recoils. It is a lust that remains unsaturated until it has destroyed itself.
