Lack of Marketing Facilities

Due to limited financial resources, manufacturers cannot transport their products to big urban markets and they are not able to advertise in the press, on radio and television. Therefore they sell products in local market or to whole sales who exploit the owners and take most of the profit.

Low Profit

Small scale and cottage industries products profit is limited and they are mostly spent on daily expenses of the owners. They do not have extra capital for the expansion of these industrial units.
