Below is the practice to memorize option choices in Data Sufficiency questions.

To recap, here’s the gist of each answer choice:

  1. All you need is statement (1) to get you to an answer; statement (2) does not work.
  2. All you need is statement (2) to get you to an answer; statement (1) does not work.
  3. If you combine the statements you can get to an answer but separately neither one of them works.
  4. Statement one works and statement two works. >
  5. Nothing works.
