How to Make Pakistan Great and Strong

The real strength and greatness of a nation depends other fact that it should be united on economic, ideological and political fronts. The geographical situation of Pakistan is quite favorable. She is situated in the heart of Asia and has a big sea coast. She is also gifted with a network of rivers. Her land is quite. And Nature has also given her sufficient mineral resources and forests. Thus, Pakistan is a lucky land and has an important geographical position. Now it is for us to make it great and strong.

Quaid-e-Azam gave us the principles of Unity, Faith and Discipline to make Pakistan great. We should try to have a stable economy. In modern times the economy of a land depends on her industry and trade. WE should try our best to make our country highly industrialized. It is also fact that ours is the bravest nation of the world. But unless and until our industry is developed, we cannot be economically stable.

Our geographical position demands that we should also be strong from the defense point of view. As we know. One of our neighbors. India has been showing great hostility towards Pakistan for the last fifty years. Therefore, it is very important for us to be strong enough to protect our mother land. Again, we should also know that the real strength of a nation lies in its internal unity and discipline. Unfortunately the last many years -of our history have been very uncertain, and we could not achieve sufficient strength and solidarity on this front. Now, if we want to make Pakistan great we should work with complete unity and discipline.

On the ideological front too we should strengthen ourselves. Pakistan’s very creation was a miracle and at that time we promised to God, the Almighty’, that if we got a piece of land we would enforce there the principles of Islam in their true spirit. But, unfortunately, we could not keep our word, and have never tried seriously to enforce’ Islam in the social, political or economic field of our lives. This is a sad fact and we should feel ashamed of it. Now, if we want to achieve real greatness and strength, we should reform our society and government and strengthen them by enforcing Islamic principles, to which all of us stand morally committed.

In short, if we want to make Pakistan great and strong, we should be economically stable, industrially advanced, social. United and spiritually firm. These are our basic target: and ever: Pakistani should make it a point to achieve them at all costs. Ever) one should work sincerely and devotedly. Sometimes we have to be selfless. In this was Pakistan is bound to make progress.
