Visa Requirement
Every student from any other country must have a valid visa for entering in Pakistan for study. For the issuance of visa for Pakistan you must contact the Pakistan Consulate at your country and apply for a study visa. Student visa is issued for a period that is equal to the duration of your program of study in Pakistan.
Issuance of Pakistani Visa
A Pakistani student visa is issued in short period of time after an application if filed. The time required varies for different nations.
Required Documents
- Valid Passport with photocopy (must be valid at least for 06 months from traveling date)
- Complete Visa Form
- 02 Photographs
- Notarized copy of proof of legal resident status in native country.
- Acceptance letter from Pakistani university or college.
Fee of visa varies according to nationality. A students should plan accordingly and are advised to apply at least 120 days before the classes start date listed on the acceptance form.
Student Visa Approval:
A visa can only be issued after approval of the Ministry of Education & the Ministry of Interior Government of Pakistan.
Time required to issue a visa
Depends on nationality (in UK, visas are normally granted within 24-48 hours). Enquire at the nearest Consulate or Embassy. Pilgrim visas require 2 months processing time.
How long is the visa valid for?
A student visa remains valid for the period of study program.
