Terrorism an All Pervading Menace

The very  thought of nuclear war sends shivers throughout each and every fibre of one’s body. If this war happens there would be nobody to celebrate the victory and there would be nobody left to mourn Notion of a complete annihilation deters man from doing anything that may trigger off a war. Thus threat of nuclear war is diminished arid we are blissfully happy but another threat that brings deaths daily, has knocked at the doors of humanity. A threat has emerged in the shape of terrorism that has threatened the very existence of mankind. It has cast a shadow of gloom on the world and this monster has spread its ugly, obnoxious and all pervasive tentacles to take almost the whole world in its grip and bloody clutches. It perpetrates the worst crimes against humanity. It is a brutal, barbaric and the ugliest method of achieving ones objective.

Civilized Man

Its presence has compelled us to say—Once there was a civilized man. Whatever man has gathered through his head and heart is at stake and terrorism having no calendar can wipe it away any time. What man has made of man? In simple words terrorism means gaining of desired ends by force. The law and order agencies are helpless to curb it and they remain mute spectators. Terrorists are snakes hiding at the most unlikely places and because of this life has become uncertain as nobody is sure if he would reach his home or not. How dangerous terrorism is can be gauged from the fact that many a time terrorist action brings disastrous consequences to millions.
