THIS YEAR A COMMON ENTRY TEST FOR ENTRY INTO B.Sc. ENGINEERING AND B.Sc. TECHNOLOGY

TEST DATE, TIME & PLACE
The test will be held on SUNDAY, 18-08-2013 at 10.00 A.M. simultaneously at the following centers.

WHO MAY APPLY?
Applicants who have passed or have appeared in F.Sc. / Intermediate, B.Sc., DAE, B.Tech. (Pass), or any Equivalent
Examination may apply for Entry Test. However, appearance in UET Lahore Entry Test does not confer the right to apply for
admission at UET Lahore and its campuses/constituent college. List of relevant disciplines of DAE and B.Tech. (Pass) is
available at web link http://admission.uet.edu.pk
ENTRY TEST APPLICATIONS
a. The Entry Test Application shall be filled online through the web link http://admission.uet.edu.pk from 15-07-2013 to 02-08-2013. Applicants must ensure that the entered data is correct before taking a printout of the online filled application along with copies of bank challan.
b. Printed application along with prescribed attachments shall be submitted at one of the above centers to obtain the Admit Card.
c. In case of unavailability of computer facilities, applicants may use this facility in the designated computer laboratories at the above centers from 15-07-2013 to 02-08-2013.
d. The Entry Test Fee of Rs. 400/- may be deposited in any online HBL Branch in Pakistan.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION
a. Applicants shall submit their application at the Entry Test Center where they wish to appear for the test.
b. UET, Kala Shah Kaku Campus applications shall be submitted at Lahore Campus.
c. Applicants are advised to choose a Test Center nearest to the District of Domicile and apply at their earliest. Seating capacity is limited in each Center. Applicants will have to choose an alternate test center in case all seats in a center of their choice have been filled.
d. It is not essential for an applicant to appear in person for submission of Entry Test application at the desired center.
e. Incomplete Entry Test applications and applications sent through post/courier shall be rejected.
f. Application completed in all respects should be submitted during the working hours (All working days except Friday 8:00 A.M to 2:00 PM and Friday 8:00 A.M to 12:00 Noon).
g. The LAST DATE for submitting the Entry Test Application is 02-08-2013 up to 4:00 P.M.
OPTION TO RECEIVE THE ADMIT CARD THROUGH INTERNET
a. This year an optional facility to receive the Admit Card through internet, instead of visiting the desired Test Center is being provided. Visit our website at http://admission.uet.edu.pk for availing this facility.
ATTACHMENTS WITH THE ENTRY TEST APPLICATION
Applicants opting to receive their Admit card from their respective Test Center are required to attach the following with their application.
a. Photocopy of CNIC or Computerized B Form issued by NADRA.
b. Two passport size photographs (one to be pasted on the printed application).
c. Paid Challan Form Receipt No. 1.
ENTRY TEST GUIDELINES
a. Guidelines for preparation of Entry Test are available at web link http://admission.uet.edu.pk
b. The area of skills to be tested shall include:
(i) Physics-30%; (ii) Mathematics-30%; (iii) English-10% & (iv) Optional Subject 30%;
c. The Test would be of Intermediate level and will be offered in the following combinations: (a) Physics, Mathematics, English & Chemistry; (b) Physics, Mathematics, English & Computer Science; and (c) Physics, Mathematics, English & Statistics. Candidates shall choose the relevant combination while filling the application form. The DAE/ B.Tech.
applicants can only choose Chemistry as the optional subject.
REQUIREMENT OF PHOTO-ID AT THE TEST CENTER DURING ENTRY TEST
Applicants are reminded to arrange for photo-ID like CNIC, SSC Certificate, Domicile etc for presentation in the Entry Test Centers during the Entry Test. Failure to present a photo-id may result in expulsion from the Test Center.
NOTE:-
Result of Combined Entry Test will be declared, insha Allah, on 25-08-2013 (Midnight) and will be available at web link http://admission.uet.edu.pk. However the key for self-marking shall be uploaded on the website at midnight on test date.
