NC State was one of the first universities to offer formal graduate education in genomic sciences, and we have offered degrees in both Bioinformatics and Functional Genomics since 1999.These faculty represent over 20 academic departments from the Colleges of Sciences, Agriculture and Life Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Engineering, and Natural Resources. Students have access to world-class laboratory and computational resources, and excellent financial support is available for students accepted into our programs.
