spend as much time as necessary, even if it takes an hour, trying to get the right answer
take a few minutes' break, then come back to the problem
skip ahead to the next problem and come back to this one
decide whether investing time in this question will pay off compared to eliminating answer choices and guessing
You should know
by the end of the CAT Exam course which problems you feel you can solve
given a reasonable amount of time. The penalty for unanswered questions
is almost twice the penalty for getting those questions wrong. Don't allow
yourself to get sidetracked answering one question at the expense of leaving
others unanswered.
