University of the Punjab: Admission Eligibility for BBA programs

A= Marks earned (1/4 of matriculation + FA /F. Sc or equivalent + Additional marks
divided by
Total marks (1/4 of matriculation + FA/F. Sc or equivalent + BA/B. Sc)

Additional Marks*:

  1. Hafiz-e-Quran** = 20
  2. Elective = 20
  3. Optional = 10
  4. Diploma = 20
  5. Additional Elective = 10 
  6. Additional Optional = 05
  7. Combination of subject = 10
  8. Subject marks*** = Marks obtained 
  9. Any other = 5-10
In case of 100% academic weightage A above will be multiplied by 100 while in case of 70% academic weightage A will be multiplied by 70.
Two marks will be deducted from the marks obtained out of 100 marks for each late year to a maximum of two years. 
** The candidate should produce a certificate from a well established institution to the effect that he/she is Hafiz-e-Quran Moreover, Departmental Admission Committee shall interview the candidate and make sure that the candidate had learnt the Holy Qur'an by heart and could recite it from whatever portion he/she is required to recite.
*** When subject marks (earned) are included in the earned marks as additional marks then total subject marks will be added in the denominator total marks.

Criteria for Diploma Holders 

A= (Marks obtained in DAE + Additional Marks*)
divided by
(Total Marks of Diploma)
